Refund Policy · Guestflock

In plain words

You get a full refund of a plan if your event hasn't started and no photos have been uploaded to it.

Outside that, our support team can still refund in fair cases, and will tell you the reason for their decision.

Refunds are always of the whole payment, back through Paystack to how you paid.

After a refund the event goes back to its previous plan. Your album is kept for at least 7 more days so you can download it.

This summary helps you read the full text below; the full text is what counts.

When you get a full refund

You can have a full refund of a plan payment when both of these are true:

Your event hasn't started yet (its start date and time haven't passed), and
No photos have been uploaded to the event.

This applies to each payment separately: a first plan purchase or an upgrade.

Other cases

Once the event has started or photos have been shared, the plan has been used, so a refund isn't automatic. If something went wrong on our side, for example the service failed during your event, write to us anyway. Our support team can approve a refund outside the rule above; they record the reason, and we'll explain our decision.

This policy doesn't take away any right you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.

How to ask

Email [support email] from the email address on your account, with your invoice number (it looks like GF-2026-000123) or the event name, and tell us why.

How refunds work

Refunds are of the whole payment; we don't do partial refunds.
The money goes back through Paystack to the card or account you paid with. How long it takes to reach you depends on Paystack and your bank [typical timeline to be confirmed with Paystack].
When the refund is confirmed, the event goes back to the plan it had before that payment, with that plan's limits.
The album end date goes back to the earlier plan's period, but it never ends less than 7 days after the refund, so you have time to download your photos.
If an organizer earned a commission on the payment, the commission is reversed.

Cash gifts

Cash gifts are paid straight to the host's bank account at the time of payment, so a gift can't simply be "cancelled". If a gift was sent by mistake or without permission, contact [support email]. Our support team can refund a whole gift through Paystack [how Paystack recovers the host's share of a refunded split payment to be confirmed with Paystack].
